🕸 Redesigned Browser Extension

We’ve completely reimagined the browser extension from the ground up, delivering a chat-focused experience to enhance your Unleash journey across the web. The extension now features a sleek and intuitive side panel, offering effortless access via a key binding:

  • Mac: CMD + J

  • Windows: CTRL + M

Additionally, you can pin the extension to your browser’s toolbar for one-click access anytime.

Here’s what the updated side panel offers:

  • Quick resource search: Find what you need instantly. Currently, the search bar only supports quick searches; in the future, you will be able to search for all your resources.

  • Chat with assistants: Interact with an assistant and choose the one that best fits your needs to get tailored answers—all without leaving your workflow.

The extension is compatible with Chromium-based browsers, including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. If the extension is already installed, it will automatically update to the latest version.

To install the Extension:

  • Open Unleash.

  • Click on Settings.

  • Click on  App Upgrades.

  • On the Unleash Extension option, click Install Extension.

We are planning to implement an advanced search feature that will include Q&A, content search, semantic search, as well as actions for Go Links, assistants, collections, and more.

🔗 Zendesk Resource Level Permission connection

You can connect Zendesk as an RLP connection with two options:

  • User Permissions: The familiar RLP approach, syncing Zendesk resources based on individual user permissions.

  • Segment-Based: Syncing only Zendesk articles that align with specific user segment permissions.

You will follow the usual procedure for selecting a permission-based link, and this step will appear before the filtering and selection process for connecting the app. Learn more.
