# Browser Extension

Customize your browser extension settings to optimize your workspaces experience. Learn more about the [browser extension features.](https://help.unleash.so/docs/search-wherever-you-work#browser-extension)

## Set Up

This page is visible to admin only and allows admins to configure workspace preferences.

### **AI Writing Tools**

To enable Unleash Writing Tools, you must assign an [LLM chat](/v1/docs/unleash-general-assistant#step-2-configuring-the-assistants-source) or [Next-Gen](/v1/docs/general-assistant-next-gen) assistant configured with the following permissions:

- Ensure the assistant has "**Display on Chat**" toggled on.
- Share the assistant with the workspace and grant **Interact** permissions.

If these settings aren't configured:

- The assistant won’t be available for Writing Tools.
- Workspace members who don’t have Interact permissions won’t have access to Writing Tools.

> Note: If the assistant has configured instructions, the Writing Tool will follow them accordingly.

### Default language for translation

Choose the default language for translations when text is highlighted, and the **Translate** option is selected. Available language options include:

- **English**
- **Hebrew**
- **Chinese (Simplified)**
- **Spanish**
- **Arabic**
- **Hindi**
- **Portuguese**
- **Russian**
- **Japanese**
- **German**
- **French**
- **Ukrainian**
- **Italian**
- **Korean**
- **Polish**
- **Dutch**
- **Swedish**

## Preferences

This page is available to the workspace and allows users to configure their personal settings for the wiritn tools.

### Default language for translation
