# Collections

Creating collections lets you easily organize related documents across all your tools under a single topic or search query. By grouping resources into topics, you establish a centralized, easily accessible, and shareable source of information for you and your teammates.

## Types of Collections

**There are two types of collections:**

- [Curated Collections](/v1/docs/curated-collections) A Curated Collection is an organized compilation of resources grouped by specific topics, making them easily accessible from a single location.
- [Live Collections](/v1/docs/live-collections) A Live Collection is a saved search query that updates in real time, continuously incorporating new data related to the query and refreshing existing information as it becomes available.

## Viewing a Specific Collection Type

Both curated and live collections are visible on the Collections page.

**To view only a specific type of collection:**

- Click the **Type** filter.
