# Folders

Within Wikis, folders help you visually organize your content by topic. You can create subfolders within folders, up to two additional levels, allowing you to create a hierarchical structure and group similar topics together.

## Creating Folders

**To create a folder:**

- Open the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/collection type(1).png) **Wikis** page.
- Open the wiki to add the new folder to.
- Click **+ Create New**.
- Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/Frame 1261157406.png) **New Folder**.
- Give your folder a name.

## **Moving Folders to Different Wikis**

Sometimes, a folder may better suit a specific category within another wiki. In such cases, you can move the folder to the appropriate wiki.

**Note:**When a folder is moved to a different wiki, the [verification policy](/v1/docs/knowledge-verification-1) of the destination wiki will be adopted.

**To move a folder to a different wiki:**

- Navigate to the folder you would like to move.
- Click on the **three-dot menu** of the folder.

- Select the Wiki to add the folder.
- **Optional:** Select a folder within the wiki to add the new folder as a subfolder.
- Click **Move**.

## **Moving Cards to Folders**

Sometimes, a card may better suit a specific category within another wiki or folder. In such cases, you can move the card to the appropriate wiki.

**Note:**When a card is moved to a different wiki, the [verification policy](/v1/docs/knowledge-verification-1) of the destination wiki will be adopted.

**To move a card to a different wiki/folder:**

- Navigate to the card you would like to move.
- Click on the **three-dot menu** of the card.

- Select the Wiki to move the card.
- **Optional:** Select a folder within the wiki to add the card to. If there is no folder within the wiki, you can click **+ Create New** in the folder box to create a new folder.
- Click **Move**.
