Go Links enables you to create short, memorable links in the format "go/link" for quick access to pages and information from Unleash or your browser. By setting up Go Links for your most visited websites, you can save time and concentrate on your work instead of searching for resources. For example, you could create **go/it-help** for your IT desk help desk, go/hr to get to your company’s HR portal or go/project-wiki to get your brainstorming notes and required documents. Unleash also supports [Variable Go Links](/v1/docs/variable-go-links). **Important Notes:** - By default, everyone in your workspace can view your Go Link unless you mark it as Unlisted. Unlisted Go Links are Go Links that are only visible to the creator of the Go Link and admins of the Unleash workspace. Learn more about Unlisted Go Links. - Only users with edit permissions can make changes to the Go Link. - Workspace admins automatically have editor rights for all Go Links created. ## Creating Go Links **You can create a new Go Link from the following:** - [Go Links Page](/v1/docs/go-links#go-links-page) - [Homepage](/v1/docs/go-links#home-page) - [Launcher](/v1/docs/go-links#launcher) > [!NOTE] > **Note:** In order to start using Go Links, the Browser Extension needs to be installed. ## **Go Links Page** - Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/general_kebab(1).png) **Go Links** on the left side of Unleash. - Click **+ New Go Link.** - Enter the Go Links URL. - Give the Go Link a shortcut name. - Select whether to mark this Go Link as an [Unlisted Go Link](/v1/docs/unlisted-go-links). - Add a [Tag](/v1/docs/adding-tags-to-go-links) to your Go Link. - Click **Create Go Link**. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to select the users you'd like to invite as editors for the Go Link. You can also click **Skip for now** and return to it later if needed. - **To invite users to edit the Go Link:** - Enter the group or user you wish to invite as editor for the Go Link. - Click **Invite.** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/Screen Shot 2024-06-04 at 13.46.09.png) ## Invite Users to Edit a Go Link You can invite specific users as editors to collaborate on the Go Link. **To invite users to edit the Go Link:** - Open a Go Link. - Click on **Invite** in the top right-hand corner. - Enter the group or user you wish to invite as editor for the Go Link. - Click **Invite.** ## Using Go Links Once you've set up your Go Links, accessing them is easy. Simply enter the shortcut name you assigned to the link into Unleash or your browser, and you'll be directed to the corresponding URL. ## **Accessing Go Links from your Browser** > [!NOTE] > **Note:** Go Links can only be accessed from your browser if you have the [Unleash Browser Extension](/v1/docs/search-wherever-you-work) installed. **To access Go Links:** - Type **go/”link shortcut name”** into your browser. - Hit **Enter**. ## **Accessing Go Links from Unleash** **To access Go Links:** - Type **go/”link shortcut name”** into the search bar. - Hit **Enter**. ## **Accessing Go Links from Slack** Search and open, or search and share Go Links right from your Slack channels or conversations. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** Go Links can only be accessed from Slack if you have the [Unleash App for Slack](/v1/docs/slack-search-assistant) installed. **To access Go Links:** - Open any Slack chat or channel. - Type **/go “link shortcut name.”** - Hit **Enter.** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/Screen Shot 2024-06-06 at 10.11.57.png) ## **Adding Go Links to Collections** Add Go Links to [Curated Collections](/v1/docs/curated-collections) to add relevant quick links and centralize content in one place. **To add Go Links to Collections:** - Click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/general_kebab(1).png) **Go Links** on the left side of Unleash. - Click on the **three dots menu** of a Go Link. - Click **Add to Collection**. - Select the Collection to add the Go Link. - Click **Add.**
