# Guru

## Connection

You can connect to Guru with either a User Token or a Collection Token.

- User Token - Access is based on the authorization level associated with the user whose token you use. A permission-based link can be created with a User token.
- Collection Tokens - Access is limited to a single Collection within your Guru instance.

**Connecting with a Collection Token:**

**To generate an API token:**

1. Log into Guru and click **Manage**.
2. Click on **Apps & Integartions**.
3. Click **API Access.**
4. Click **Generate User Token**.

1. Paste the API token into the relevant place in Unleash.
2. Enter your email.
3. Click **Submit**.

The integration supports the following resources:

- Cards
- Collections

## Filtering and Selection

Users can refine the indexing scope of the connected token with options to enable or disable indexing for:

- Collections

## Sync

Following the initial synchronization, the integration updates with any changes in each project every 15 minutes.
