# Live Collections

Live Collections allows you to save a search query that updates in real-time. It continuously incorporates new data related to the query and refreshes existing information as it becomes available.

For example, you can create a live collection of:

- All issues assigned to you on GitHub
- Open tasks in Asana
- Folders you created in Drive

Additionally, you can create a live collection with filters for your project and share it with your teammates.

## Creating a Live Collection

**To create a new live collection:**

- Open the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/9c439416-8f37-43ae-8ba7-d5c31de26a65/Images/Documentation/icon_Collectins(1).png) **Collections** page in Unleash.
- Click **+New Collection**.
- Click **Live Collection**.
- Give your collection a title.
- Optional: Add a description.
- [Add Tags](/v1/docs/adding-tags-to-collections).

## Adding Resources to a Live Collection

Adding resources to a live collection involves saving a search query. The results form the resources within the collection. The resources displayed will match the filters you have set.

**To add resources to a live collection:**

- Open the live collection.
- Click **App/Type/+More filters**.
- Select one or more of the relevant filters.
- Click **Save**.

## Editing a Live Collection

Once your live collection is created, you can edit it to add more or less filters to add to or refine the results you receive.

**To edit resources in a live collection:**

- Open the live collection.
- Add the relevant filter.
- Click **Save.**

**Note:** Clicking reset will revert the collection to the original saved filters.

> Alternatively, you can choose to preserve the original collection as it is and create a copy with the applied changes.

## Making a Copy of a Collection

**To make a copy of a collection:**

- Open the collections page.
- Click on the **three-dot menu** of the collection to duplicate.
- Click **Make a copy.**
