Article summary

This cutting-edge feature streamlines the RFP (Request for Proposal) process by automating the completion of RFP files. Import your RFP document into the Unleash platform, which will intelligently detect and retrieve answers from your company’s connected knowledge bases. Effortlessly export the finalized RFP, saving time while enhancing the accuracy and professionalism of your proposals.

Good to know: The RFP Assistant allows you to predetermine knowledge bases. If not predefined, the data stored in the links connected to Unleash will be used as the knowledge source for answering the RFP questions.

To Populate an RFP

  • Type “RFP” or “Fill RFP” into the search bar (from either the Unleash apps or Launcher).

  • Click the Fill RFP result.

  • Drag & drop or upload your files.

Note: Only XLS and XLSX files can be used.

  • Optional: Select your RFP Assistant as the data source for answering the questions within the RFP. If no Assistant is selected, Unleash will use the links connected to Unleash as the knowledge source to answer the RFP questions.

  • Click Continue.

  • Each worksheet is displayed as a section, including:

    • Worksheet name

    • Question Column

    • Answer Column

    • Unleash automatically identifies and maps the relevant headers and cell numbers from the RFP worksheet, ensuring that the correct information is displayed in the corresponding columns.

Note: If a match isn't found for any question or answer column, Unleash will still display these columns with empty input fields, allowing you to manually fill them as needed. Any unmapped columns will be ignored.

  • If there are additional columns of questions and answers in a specific worksheet:

    • Click the + button for that worksheet.

    • Input the cell numbers for the question and answer column. Unleash will automatically input the header names for those columns.

  • Click Run Process.

  • Click Download File.

This screen also provides a breakdown of the number of answered questions, questions without answers, and answers that did not meet the criteria and thus failed.
