🤖 Slack Assistant Update

Channel History Toggle

When this feature is toggled on, it now allows the bot to read files that are sent within the selected channel and use these documents as a data source for answering questions within the channel.

Feedback Toggle

To provide even more clarity and context for why you find an answer incorrect when signaling the 👎🏽 on the Slack bots answer to your question in a Slack Channel, we have introduced the "Reason" component. When you click the thumbs down icon, this optional feature will allow you to input specific reasons behind your negative feedback. Your input will help us better understand your needs and improve our responses. This new feature will be turned off by default. You can easily enable or disable it according to your preferences on the Assistant page.

We are committed to continuously improving your interactions with our bot, and this enhancement is a significant step forward. Your feedback helps us evolve, so please don't hesitate to use these new features to guide us in delivering more accurate and relevant responses.

Specific Resource Selection

We have a cool new feature that lets you make the app filters for the bot work exactly the way you want, even for specific parts of an app. This means you can make the bot give you answers in Slack that are super personalized and quick.

To set it up, just click on +Add App, go to "More Filters," pick "Specific Resource," and find the exact stuff you need. Once you've done that, the bot will use these things to give you answers in the channels you've chosen. It's easy!

➕ Card Attachments

Now you can easily add files to your wiki cards. While creating or editing a card, type "/file" and choose from the available options. There's no limit to the number of files you can attach, but each file must be under 5MB in size. When searching for a file, the card containing it will appear as a search result, simplifying your knowledge access. If you set the Wiki Collection that the card is located in as a data source for the Q&A Bot on the Assistants page, the file will be displayed as an answer when relevant to a question.
