Article summary

Each Wiki is accompanied by the option to activate the verification process and define the verification policy. By enabling verification for a wiki, you allow its information to be verified as true.

Starting the Verification Process

Note: Only a wiki owner or editor can enable the verification process for the wiki.

Important to Note:

  • By default, verification policies are disabled for wikis.

  • Wikis need to have the verification status enabled to verify cards.

  • When you enable the verification policy for a wiki that already has existing cards, the verification status of those cards will be set to unverified.

  • All cards within the wiki will inherit the verification properties of the wiki.

Enabling Wiki Verification

To enable wiki verification:

  • Open a Wiki.

  • On the top right, click onVerification Details.

  • Toggle on Enable verification process for the wiki.

  • Type the name of a group or team member into the Verifier navigation bar.

  • Select the Verifier/s.

  • Set the Verification Interval.

  • Click Save.

Disabling the Verification Policy

Wiki owners and editors possess the authority to disable the verification policy for a wiki. This essentially turns off the verification process. If they disable the verification policy:

  • This disables the verification for all cards within it.

  • This includes cards with their own verification policy.

  • Cards will not display any verification badge.

To disable the verification policy:

  • Open a Wiki.

  • On the top right, click onVerification Details.

  • Toggle off Enable verification process for the wiki.

  • Click Save.

Re-Enabling the Verification Policy

Editors and owners can re-enable the verification policy, which restores it to its previous state. The verification policy that was set for specific cards before the collections verification policy was disabled will be restored.

Note: Any changes that were made to a card during the time the collection verification status was disabled, will be maintained, however, the card will be set to unverified.

To re-enable the verification policy:

  • Open a Wiki.

  • On the top right, click onVerification Details.

  • Toggle on Enable verification process for the wiki.

  • Click Save.
