To integrate Unleash into Loopio and make it available as a source for answering questions, follow the steps below.
Important Notes
Each end user must have an active user account in Unleash to generate answers via Loopio.
To create a Unleash user, have them log into app.unleash.so at least once. This will automatically create their account.
Loopio respects user-level permissions defined in Unleash. Only users with proper access can generate answers using Unleash.
Step 1: Connect Unleash in Loopio
As an admin, log into your Loopio account.
Navigate to Integrations.
Click Connect next to Unleash.
You’ll be prompted to enter an API Key, your Unleash email, and your Assistant ID.
Step 2: Generate an API Key in Unleash & Create an Assistant
Log into your Unleash account at https://app.unleash.so/.
Create a General Assistant.
Click on
Control Center.
Click on
Assistants.
Click +New Assistant.
Click General Assistant.
Start configuring the assistant.
Create an API Key in Unleash.
Click on
Control Center.
Click on
API Keys.
Click + Create API Key.
Give your API Key a name.
Ensure that Impersonated is selected as the access mode
Select the Assistant you created to be associated with the key.
Click Create Key.
Press Copy to copy the key.
Please copy this key and save it somewhere safe. For security reasons, it cannot be viewed again.
Click Done.
Step 3: Complete the Loopio Integration
Paste the API Key into Loopio.
Enter the email address associated with your Unleash account.
Return to the Assistant page in Unleash and copy the Assistant ID from the URL.
Paste the Assistant ID into the field in Loopio and click Continue.
You’ll see a confirmation that Unleash is connected.
Note: You cannot change the API key after setup. To update it, you’ll need to disconnect and reconnect the integration.
Step 4: Using Unleash in Loopio
From your project where no answer is available:
Click Generate an Answer.
Under Information Sources, go to the External tab and select Unleash.
Choose your Writing Preferences.
Click Generate Answer to create a response based on the selected settings.
